A Moderate Political Coalition

The dictionary defines a coalition as: “a temporary alliance of distinct parties, persons, or states for joint action”. At no time in recent history has there been a more pressing need for a moderate political coalition. There are brilliant leaders among both the Republicans and the Democrats. It is up to us -- the citizens -- to encourage them to work together for a common goal.

Both parties have some great ideas. Instead of ignoring an opinion because it came from “them,” it is time for people to come together. We need to listen to what is being said by those on both sides of every issue. Only when we listen can we truly understand. Only when we understand can we distill the best ideas from both sides and come up with workable solutions that benefit all of us. When people are divided by extreme views, we miss the opportunity to make life better for all of our citizens. At this time, each Party is only interested in what is in it for them. Those are not the principles on which this country was founded.

The time has come for our moderate political coalition to speak for all people. Staunch Moderates promotes working together for the benefit of all--not the Left, not the Right--all. That means that now is the time for listening, understanding, and cooperation. We invite you to join us as we work to make our country the best it can be for all of her citizens.
